Our client is the largest and most modern meat processing group in Lithuania, one of Central Europe’s largest producers of meat products. It entered business in 1994 and currently occupies much of the Lithuanian meat products market. Following the launch of a new line, we are looking for packers to join our team.
Position: Slaughterer
Duties: Work on the slaughter line of cattle and pigs. Preparation of carcasses.
Requirements:
• Experience in working with different types of meat
• Mastering different tools according to the job position of a slaughterer
• Responsibility
• Physical endurance
• Compliance with sanitary and hygienic norms
• Desire to learn and grow
Working hours:
• Working shifts – 4 working shifts / 4 weekend shifts
• Working in one shift of 12 hours (6:00 – 19:00).
• Breaks – 1.5 hours during the working day
• Total number of working hours during the month 168 (by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania)
• There is a possibility to work overtime up to 50 hours per month
Salary (net):
• Average monthly salary 940 – 2000+ € (depends on experience and hours worked)
• Apprentice: 5.60 €/hour
• Specialist: 7 – 9.60 €/hour
Qualifications and skills are determined via an online interview with the employer’s manager
