Butcher (Slaughterman)

Our client is about three decades old. Founded in 1993 in the town of Krekenavos, the complex was the largest in the entire country. Today the shop, built in 2004, has 22,000 square meters and is considered one of the largest in the Baltic States.

  • Can be without profile education, no knowledge of the Lithuanian language
  • Russian language skills, foreign passport for a visa
  • Slaughtering experience (pork, beef)
  • Experience of working at a meat plant will be a plus
  • Strong physical condition

Work schedule:

  • 4 working days/4 days off
  • Working shift 12 hours
  • Working hours: 8:00 am to 9:00 pm (2 hours free time-break)
  • Average 200 working hours, minimum – 168 hours, maximum – 250 hours (for those who want to earn more)


  • 7-9 €/hour – workers with experience in the meatpacking plant
  • 4 €/hour – for workers without experience at a meat-packing plant (but with experience at the market, in a store or at home – on a regular basis). It takes 2-3 months to move to a specialist 7-9 €/hour

  • The employer provides accommodation free of charge. This is a comfortable dormitory near work
  • Accommodation in a room of 2-3-4 people. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay
  • You can also live in a cottage for a nominal fee of 50 euros / month (in a room of 2-3 people)
